Coventry City Ladies could held their heads up high after playing a great game at their home ground for the pre-season friendly just weeks before the start of the 2011/2012 Premier League Season which kicks off on the 21st August.
The Sky Blues started the game well with Maz Gauntlet scoring the opening goal in the 25th minute from the edge of the box.

By half time, Coventry City Ladies were pleased with the 1-1 draw.
The Sky Blues carried on dominating possession during the second half, giving the opposition very few opportunities for scoring.
Great footwork between Phillipowsky and Hinton in the 80th minute allowed Leanne Mckenna to fire home a powerful header which went only slightly too high over the bar.
By the end of the game, Cudby’s side could walk away satisfied with a strong performance and respectable 1-1 draw.
