Coventry City Ladies have made the following appointment:
Coaching staff
First team assistant manager - Stuart Ryder will be joining us as first team assistant manager. Stuart is a UEFA B licence coach, he has experience within the womens game having previously worked with Solihull Ladies FC, and is also an ex professional footballer too having enjoyed a career with Walsall, Mansfield and England Under 21's. Stuart's appointment is to replace Chris Holloway following his resignation at the end of the season, Scott Riddell will continue in his role as first team coach.
Reserve team manager - Kerrie Christopher will be joining us as reserve team manager. Kerrie is a level 2 qualified coach, and has previous experience with female footballers having been working with Henley College. She is also a lecturer at Henley College having graduated with a Masters Degree in Exercise Science. Kerrie's appointment is to replace Matt Baker following his resignation last season.
PR/Video analysis
Club PR officer - Jonathan Hooke will be joining us as our media officer. Jonathan is a graduate of Staffordshire University with a BA in Sports Journalism. He will be working closely with Steve Carpenter and David Deakin, and a number of our club officials to help raise our profile within the women's game, the local communities, and on a national level too.
Video analyst - We are hoping to confirm the appointment of a video analyst imminently. The video analyst will be present at a number of our games providing feedback to the coaching staff which will allow us to feedback on performances effectively to players.
Medical support team
Andy Frampton will head our medical support team and will be ably assisted by Poppy Aulak, Gemma Parry, Katherine Halls, Jamie Evans, Chris Smith, Katie Horsfield, Gemma Tomkinson and Connie O'Donnell. They will all carry out a number of key roles working with Andy to ensure that CCLFC can extend the best possible care to all of our players at all times.
