Coventry City Ladies made cup progression with a comprehensive 10-0 victory over Burton Albion
In a re-arranged Birmingham County FA Women's Cup Third Round tie which was played at Bedworth United, City, the holders for the last three years, took on a side, some three divisions below them.
Craig Nicholls side were on the attack early winning a corner with the visitors firing across the goal before Helen Dermody won a fourth minute corner. The ball came out to Jade Mellor who lashed a twenty yarder at the Burton keeper.
Hughes fired over and Lynch headed at the keeper from a corner and in the tenth minute, the City skipper headed over from another corner.
In the thirteenth minute, City took a deserved lead when Helen Dermody rose to head home.
Two minutes later, it was two when City attacked and Jade Formaston got in a twenty yard drive that flew into the net.
Gauntlett headed wide as City kept up the pressure and an Amber Hughes strike made it three before the twenty minute mark.
On the half hour mark, City, who are in FA Cup action at WSL League 2 side Oxford United, scored a fourth thanks to a stunning finish from Helen Dermody.
Dermody headed wide in the 39th minute and Hughes had a shot well saved before Formaston headed on the bar in the 44th minute.
Gauntlett, Dermody, Mills and Neville were amongst those City players looking for a fifth goal which came in the 57th minute when Jade Mellor finished off from a Johnson ball.
City continued to attack and a cracking cross was headed by Jade Formaston in the 63rd minute.
Three minutes later, it was seven thanks to Dermody completing her hat-trick with another header against a Burton side playing a 2-3-5 formation.
Jade Formaston completed her hat-trick with another header in the 71st minute before Neville stroked the bar from twenty yards.
Sue Wood in the City goal made a great save to push over a shot from a Burton substitute but Toussaint blasted over, Miles had a shot blocked, Neville drove just wide before a low drive from Destiny Toussaint gave City a ninth goal and then a tenth with the final kick of the match.
