Coventry City Ladies Football Club play in the FA Women’s Premier League at the top of the women’s winter football pyramid. The club also includes a Junior Section playing in the Coventry and Warwickshire Girls League.
Coventry City Ladies FC are looking to recruit a marketing officer for the 2014-15 season in their bid to continue to establish themselves within the Premier League.
The role will include the following main duties:
* To generate income for the club through the sale of Club/Team Packages.
* To generate income for the club through the sale of match and ball sponsorships; and programme advertising.
* To undertake commercial activities as directed by nominated officials of the Club with a view to increasing revenue streams.
* To prepare monthly written reports for presentation to the Committee
He or she:
* Will enjoy working as part of a team
* Will be communicative, flexible and responsive
* Will be able to manage themselves
* Will be Computer Literate
* Will preferably have had experience within women’s football, but this is not a requirement.
Whilst the role is unpaid, Coventry City Ladies FC are committed to developing their staff, and will cover expenses on a periodical basis to be agreed, plus will provide excellent contacts for individuals to further their careers. There will also be an opportunity to received commission based on new sponsorship bought into the club. This will be covered at the time of appointment. The role will be home based.
The role will be beneficial for someone looking to obtain work based experience in the marketing sector.
