As Coventry City Ladies FC work hard off the pitch to achieve Women’s Super League status within the coming year, the players are certainly playing their part on the pitch.
The season of 2013/2014 finished on a high with Coventry City Ladies being titled Southern League Champions after an undefeated run of 17 games in all competitions. Not only did CCLFC pick up the league title
They also retained the Birmingham County Cup for the third year running at the Walsall Bescot Stadium.
This season has started with the exact same determination and motivation despite being moved into the Northern Premier League competing against teams such as Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield United and Newcastle United to name a few.
With last season’s efforts being noticed by people within the city, CCLFC were nominated for team of the year in The Coventry Sports Awards 2014. This was not the only award that CCLFC were involved in as our first team manager Craig Nicholls picked up manager of the year for 2014.
The key feature of the club is the development of youth football within the women’s game, which is second in the UK only to men’s football in terms of participation. Having six youth teams from under 11’s through to under 18’s as well as a reserve team and first team, gives an ideal target consumer market. Combine this with extended family members, friends, spectators and our 4000+ twitters followers makes Coventry City Ladies an advertisers dream. The ability to reach a target audience of over 4300 people in a few clicks of a button can never be underestimated.
We have just started a school scheme which will involve CCLFC getting kids more active in local schools. In September 2015 we have also gained a partnership with BMET College in Sutton Coldfield and will be provided a 16+ education programme.
This is the ideal opportunity to forge strong links with our club as we push ever closer towards the Women’s Super League and the high profile exposure associated within that level of the game. We offer various sponsorship packages to meet all needs and proposals. This is a great chance to promote Coventry City Ladies alongside your company as a partnership looking to develop the City of Coventry and achieve positive things.
If you think you can help our club with sponsorship or would like some more information on this then do not hesitate to contact juniors@cclfc.org
