Coventry City Ladies won 4-1 at Marston Green in their Birmingham County FA Womens Cup Quarter-Final
Craig Nicholls kept new signing Kim Maggs on the bench but fielded a strong side which included City's full Wales international Hayley Ladd as the cup holders for the last two years took on Marston Green at The Gorse.
City went ahead in the 20th minute when Maz Gauntlett flicked on for Helen Dermoy to control and beat the keeper.
Fourteen minutes later, Annabel Johnson put over a superb cross for Hayley Ladd to volley home for the second.
Maggs was brought on for her debut replacing Maz Gauntlett and crowned her debut by scoring a third for City from fifteen yards.
In the 63rd minute, Ashley Neville scored a fourth before Sarah Anderson pulled one back for Marston Green when she seized on a loose clearance and floated it back into an empty net and was the first goal City have conceded in this competition this season.
There were no more goals but City, who face Stoke City in a Women's FA Cup Cup Third Round tie at the Ricoh Arena next Sunday, were through to the Semi-Finals with a 4-1 win.
