Coventry City Ladies beat Swansea City 9-0 in a pre-season game at Bedworth United FC this afternoon.
The Sky Blues were ahead in the opening minute of a match played in four half hour periods, when the keeper parried from Simpkins and the ball was slotted home by Helen Dermody.
In the 12th minute, Paul Cudby's side doubled their lead when Foster stabbed in after goalmouth scramble.
A third came through Milly Durrant after being put through on thekeeper by Dermody.
By the 35th minute, it was 4-0 to the Sky Blues when Danni Saulter sidefooted home a Phillipowsky square ball.
City's fifth game in the 61st minute and saw Dermody flick on for Abbie Hinton to lob keeper.
Maz Gauntlett fired just wide three times from distance but finally got on the scoresheet from a yard out after Leanne McKenna had headed Coventry's sixth goal.
By the end of the 90th minute, Maz Gauntlett scored from 25 yards and then an own goal made it 9-0 and that was the way it stayed in the final period.
