Coventry City are likely to be priced out of a bid for Swindon Town star striker Simon Cox.
The former Reading man has been attracting interest from a number of clubs including Coventry City if you believe the Sky Blue rumour mill.
However, Swindon have placed a £2.5m price tag on Cox's head and this is scaring off many clubs.
According to Sky Sports News, Leicester City are the latest to be put off by the price tag. They quote Leicester chief executive Lee Hoos as saying to the Swindon Advertiser: "That is pretty steep for a League One player."
Cox was born in April 1987 and has made league appearances for Reading, Brentford, Northampton and Swindon whom he joined in January 2008 after having a successful spell at the County Ground a year earlier.
