Coventry City have been linked to free agent Ryan McGowan.
The Australian born defender has played for Darren Murray at Hearts and has been playing for Chinese side Shandong Luneng and would like to come to England according to a report in The Scotsman, who also cite a Chinese side, offering a two year deal, as another possible suitor.
The 25 year old from Adelaide, spent five years at Hearts and has also played on loan at Partick Thistle and Ayr United. He has twelve caps for the Australian national team.
