According to today's Daily Mail, Coventry City have been linked with a bid for former young striker Craig Reid.
The Coventry born striker, who was released by Micky Adams after scoring seventeen goals for City Reserves, played for Newport County this afternoon in their top of the table clash with AFC Wimbledon which finished in a 3-3 draw.
Reid, who was recommended to City back in September as a player worth keeping an eye on, has scored fifteen goals this season for Dean Holdsworth side and the paper reckons that City have put in a bid of £250,000 for the striker.
