With the Vokes deal now dead, City have turned their attentions elsewhere and Chris Coleman, who said he is after 'a couple of forward thinking players' told the CT: "Andy Thorn and the chairman have been working hard. The Sam Vokes thing is dead in the water and I can't see there is any way back on that now.
"But there are two or three other possibilities so we might be getting a couple of faces in, possibly, maybe next week fingers crossed."
