Coventry City are looking to extend the loan of Leon Barnett for the rest of the season, despite interest from Sheffield United who made another inquiry this morning.
The Sky Blues had been looking for a striker and left back as cover and will probably try and land the players Chris Coleman wants on loan when the loan window re-opens.
Barnett returned to West Brom after sitting on the bench for Saturday's home game against Blackpool and with Football League clubs having until the last Thursday in March to take what players they want on loan, it is likely that City will go down this route rather than pay for the centre half.
