Coventry City are not likely to be getting Jake Cooper on loan from Reading.
According to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Reading boss Steve Clarke has injury concerns to other players and won't send the defender out on loan.
“At this moment in time, definitely not,” said Royals’ boss, when asked if Cooper could be on his way to Coventry.
“Jake’s another one who has been to see me, as most of them have. He wants to play and I can understand that.
“But at this moment in time, because of the situation we’re in with the amount of games that we’ve got, I need him.
“If there was an opportunity, when everyone is fit and well, to send someone like Jake out for a month - only a month - to get five or six games under his belt then I would consider it, if it was right for everyone concerned.
“But at this moment in time, no chance.”
