Former Coventry City youngster Mark Noon has said that he will not be throwing his hat into the ring for the vacant Nuneaton Town manager's job.
Noon will be in charge of a Nuneaton side which travels to Braintree on Thursday and told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner:"I was asked to step in and did not have to think about it.
"I have really enjoyed the coaching I have done this year and I think that's what I can add at the moment. What the club needs is stability for the next six or seven games.
"We have got a fantastic group of boys and that makes it easy for us over the next five or six weeks and then the club can make a decision on how they move on and with whoever they appoint. If I'm in the new manager's plans then great. If not, it's just one of those things."
When asked whether he would be joining the long list of those applying, Noon said: "It's not quite the right thing for me at the moment.
"I might feel differently about management in ten years time but at the moment I am still learning my trade as a coach and that's important."
