John Aloisi has been called up for Australia for their Asian Cup matches which start on July 7th. Graham Arnold has also called up Harry Kewall,Mark Viduak,Tim Cahill and Mark Swarzer for the sixteen nation tournament which will be hosted in Indonesia,Malaysia,Vietnam and Thailand. Aloisi is currently playing in Spain with Alaves.

Former Academy player Stephen Munn has joined Carnegie Premier Division side Glenavon. The defender, who made 32 appearances for the First Division club,scoring on four occasions, is coming to the end of his contract at Bangor and has opted for a move to Mourneview.

Colin Hendry has been appointed manager of Clyde. The former defender who failed to impress during his time at Highfield Road said the move "felt right" The Scot had had some success with Blackpool and was recently coaching at relegated Boston United.
