Mills has been playing for Doncaster Rovers since moving from Manchester City. He moved to the Madejski Stadium for a seven figure fee after making 81 appearances for Doncaster.
Mills made five appearances for City in September/October 2004 before a disasterous game against Ipswich saw his loan ended.

Former City midfielder Jay Tabb feels that Reading's youngster will be a force this season. Speaking to BBC Berkshire, Tabb said: "Reading fans can be assured that any young players coming in will do a good job.
"Since I stepped in here for the first day of training, you could tell the young players are really talented. It's such a young squad - the other day in training, we did a young versus old and I was in the old side which says something."
