Former Coventry City striker Kevin Kyle, now at Scottish side Kilmarnock and who had a trial with Russian side Spartak Nalchik in a recent friendly game has claimed he will not be moving to Russia even if they offered him £100,000 a week.
The striker, who i out of contract in the summer said, "After spending a couple of days with the team I decided it wasn't for me. I don't think I would enjoy it."
"I have a family and a kid to look after and you have to look into everything but even if they offered me a hundred grand a week I would turn them down.I did not feel comfortable and despite only being away for two days I just couldn't wait to get back to Scotland."
Meanwhile out of favour 'City defender Elliot Ward, currently on a month's loan at Doncaster Rovers missed last Saturday's game at Bristol City because he had a twisted testicle. A trip to hospital has sorted out this painful problem and Ward is expected to fit to face Preston tonight.
