A number of former Coventry City players have tweeted expressing their grief at the situation the club has got itself into.
Darren Huckerby tweeted: "Just seen the Coventry City news, devastating for all associated with the club,15 years ago we were going toe to toe with the best #Shocking."
Former City youngster Robert Ogleby tweeted "Terrible news about CCFC, gutted for all the fans that have supported the club through all of this. Too many people have failed the club!"
