Former Coventry City loanees Jordan Henderson and Jack Cork both played 45 minutes for England U21's in their 2-0 win over Norway at Southampton.
Henderson started the game which saw former City youngster Danny Sturridge, who played for 65 minutes, open the scoring after eight and a half minutes with a simple tap-in.
Danny Rose scored a superb solo goal in the 39th minute before former Sky Blue and England U21 boss Stuart Pearce made changes at half-time.
Henderson, who gave the England front three some lovely balls to run on to, was replaced by Henri Lansbury at an interval which also saw Jack Cork come on.
England's U21's next game is in the European U21 Championship against Spain in Denmark next Sunday, a game which is live on Sky Sports.
