The Honduran signed for MLS side Chicago Fire on Feb 8, 2005. He joined City in October 2000 and after two years at the Sky blues under Gordon Strachan and Roland Nilsson, he left for CD Motagau, the club whom he joined in 1996 before signing for Penarol in Uruguay in 2004.
Guerrero played in the Copa Liberatordes Championship whilst playing for his country in the Qualifying rounds of the 2002 and 2006 World Cups.
