Former Coventry City players Roy O'Donovan and Nathan Cameron are off to Wembley after Northampton Town won the second leg of the League 2 Play-Off Final with a 1-0 victory at Cheltenham Town.
Former City boss Aidy Boothroyd fielded Roy O'Donovan and Nathan Cameron in the Cobblers side which conceded a 13th minute penalty when Russell Penn was fouled by Ben Tozer outside the box. However, the referee awarded a penalty and Marlon Pack took the spot kick but Lee Nicholls saved.
Boosted by this, the Cobblers started to created chances and in the 27th minute, they took the lead with a stunning 25 yarder from Luke Guttridge.
Cheltenham hit the bar in the 75th minute through a Mohammed header but thanks to some solid defending from Cameron and his team-mates, Northampton will face Bradford City in the League 2 Play-Off Final.
