Former City striker Cody McDonald scored for Gillingham in a 1-1 draw against Walsall for whom Franck Moussa equalised in the 59th minute.
Former City loanee Nathan Delfounseo scored for Swindon Town in a 3-0 win over Rochdale. He was also booked in the game.
