City One Of A Number of Shocks

Coventry City's 3-2 extra time victory over Championship side Birmingham City was one of a number of shocks in the Capital One Cup Second Round.

Former City loanee Gary Madine scored a penalty for Sheffield Wednesday as they beat Fulham 1-0, whilst Coventry born James Collins scored a hat-trick for Swindon Town in a 4-3 extra win at Stoke City.

Carlisle beat Ipswich Town 2-1, Crawley beat Bolton 2-1, Doncaster beat Hull 3-2, Burton Albion won 4-2 at Leicester, MK Dons beat Blackburn 2-1, Preston beat Palace 4-1 and Bradford City won 2-1 at Watford.
