Coventry City now are only using ball boys and ball girls from Northampton.
The Sky Blues have said in a letter to those who were ball boys or girls at the Ricoh Arena, that youngsters from Northampton Town will be performing the duties instead.
The letter sent, according to the Coventry Telegraph reads; "As you are probably aware, Coventry City will now be playing our home games at Northampton Town.
"I am sorry to have to write this letter to you but regrettably we are not inviting our current ball boys and girls to return, as youngsters from Northampton Town will be performing these duties.
"We know you will be disappointed to receive this news and would therefore like to offer you four complimentary tickets for our game against Colchester United on Sunday September 8th. We do hope you will continue to support the Sky Blues."
There are rumours that this is the tip of the iceberg and that future phases include using the Northampton Town staff to replace exisiting Coventry and Warwickshire based staff who have a number of roles within the club.
