City Out Of The Relegation Zone

Coventry City are out of the relegation zone following their 3-1 home victory over Crawley Town tonight.

The Sky Blues are now 19th in the League One table with 17 points from 16  matches.

Hartlepool who didn't play, stay bottom below Bury who won 2-1 at Oldham Athletic. Above Bury, are Scunthorpe United who travel to the Ricoh Arena on Saturday. Scunthorpe under Brian Laws won 4-1 at Walsall, whilst Shrewsbury who lost 2-1 at Bournemouth, have dropped back into the bottom four.

Sheffield United who drew 0-0 at Swindon top the table, followed by Stevenage who won 3-1 at Yeovil.

Tranmere are third with Crawley fourth whilst fifth placed Notts County won 2-0 at Colchester. The Magpies are a point ahead of sixth placed Doncaster who lost 2-0 at home to Crewe.

Brentford are up to eighth after a 1-0 win at Portsmouth and Preston are tenth after a 1-1 draw with Carlisle.
