Coventry City have said this evening that they are expecting the club's owners to be making a statement in the next few days.
City released their statement this morning rather than after the 5pm deadline which the EFL had demanded, ahead of their Board meeting, where the subject of Coventry City will again be discussed.
The Sky Blues, in their statement, maintained that their aim is to continue playing at the Ricoh Arena and they will explore other options and that their deadline is now Thursday April 25th when an EGM will be held and a vote will be taken to end City's membership of the Football League which requires 75% of the seventy-one clubs to vote for.
