Some Coventry City players have taken to social media following the 6-2 home defeat to Yeovil Town this afternoon.
The game was City's heaviest defeat at home since 2008 when West Bromwich Albion managed by Tony Mowbray won 5-0 and only the second time in 99 years of league football that City have conceded six goals at home.
Jack Grimmer tweeted: "Unforgivable today. Can only apologise to all the fans, stuck with us to the end through that horrific performance. I hold my hands up for my part in the goals. A big chance to put it right on Saturday
Dominic Hyam tweeted: "Not good enough today individually and collectively.
"Thank you to the fans who stuck by and were with us all the way. We need to now put it right on Saturday."
Marc McNulty tweeted: "Shocking performance today! Not good enough. We move on and go again saturday! Chance to put it right!"
Jonson Clarke-Harris tweeted; "Today’s wasn’t good enough from all of us today we have to bounce back Saturday."
Max Biamou tweeted: "Not a good team performance today.. focus on saturday now."
When you're 4-1 down and @MaxBiamou takes it into his own hands with this peach of a volley today for @Coventry_City.
