Coventry City players have a few bumps and bruises ahead of Saturday's trip to Southend United.
Speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, City boss Tony Mowbray said: “We’ve got a few knocks and niggles to be honest this week.
“I don’t think there’s anything that’s going to keep them out of the game but we’re having like a ‘down’ week where we’re trying to get our team fit and ready to go again.
“We monitor their work loads closely and sometimes the load is too high so you take them out of a session because in some games whey can do as much work as they need to do in three days on the training pitch.
“If you keep working them and working them they are in danger of breaking down, so it’s just managing the group and probably half the team that played at the weekend didn’t train today because of that.”
