City Pressing Ahead With Plans For Houses At Ryton

Coventry City are pushing ahead with plans for put houses on the Ryton Training Ground site.

The plan is to put 75 houses on the site which has been City's training ground since the 1960's with City having a new training facility elsewhere.

The club have said that they have a site for this training ground but have not yet announced where.

The plan is part of a local plan which has already under-gone a public examination by an independent inspector

A formal consultation on changes to the local plan started on Tuesday August 14th and will continue until Friday October 5th.
