Coventry City have taken Chelsea youngster Dujon Sterling on loan.
Islington born of Jamaican descent, the full back or defensive midfielder has played for England at U16's, U18's and U19's level and can play as a winger if required.
He has played twice for Chelsea's first team, once in the FA Cup and once in the League Cup, both as a substitute and is still to make his Premier League debut.
Sterling joins City on a season long loan and Mark Robins said to the club website: “I’m very pleased to have signed Dujon on loan until the end of the 2018/19 season.
“We would like to thank Chelsea for loaning Dujon to us, for what is his first loan spell from the club. He worked with Adi Viveash at Chelsea, so we’re very aware of what he will bring to us.
“Dujon is someone with great pedigree and a lot of potential, as shown by his international recognition, who will add another dimension to our play.
“Though primarily a defender, he can play anywhere down the right-hand side of the pitch and makes use of his skill and pace.
“We look forward to seeing him develop during his time with us and contributing to our season.”
