Coventry City appear unlikely to back in for out of favour David Healy.
The Ulsterman is likely to be off-loaded in a clear out by Sunderland boss Steve Bruce in the coming weeks.
However, City, who expect striker Leon Best to stay until the end of the season and possibly sign a new contract and are in talks with Carlisle about Gary Madine, are unlikely to go back in for the player they tried to sign earlier this season.
Again Healy's wages could be a problem plus with the amount of strikers already on the Sky Blues' books there is no guarantee that Healy would get the regular first team football he needs to maintain his international career.
