Former Coventry City CEO Paul Fletcher is claiming that the Ricoh Arena should be owned by Coventry City FC.
Mr Fletcher, who did quite nicely out of his time at Coventry before departing and ending up back at Burnley who have since ousted him, told the CT: "I now personally feel that it's time for both Coventry City Council and the Charitable Trust to sell their shares back to CCFC at a fair and equitable price, which will allow each to get on with their council business and charity work."
Mr Fletcher, who is peddling a new book - The Seven Go£den Secrets Of A Successful Stadium which has a cover price of a million pounds via his website, added: "It is my view that football authorities should be owned and operated by football clubs not local authorities and charitable trusts."
