Coventry City have igned Declan Drysdale from Tranmere Rovers.
The 19 year old defender, made his Tranmere debut in 2017 and helped them back into the Football League last season.
He has signed a two and a half year deal after the Sky Blues agreed a compensation package with The Wirral based club and will go into the U23's and could feature in their first game of 2019 away to Charlton Athletic on Monday.
Jason Farndon said to the club website about signing Drysdale: "We are finally delighted to secure the services of Declan. He was someone we identified in the summer and tried to sign before.
"He is a big, ball playing centre back and after weeks of talk, we are glad to have finally got the deal over the line.
"Declan is one for the future and one I look forward to working with."
