There are unconfirmed rumours that Coventry City are struggling to attract sponsors.
Many potential advertisers are understood to be put off by the club proposing to play their matches at Northampton Town's Sixfields Stadium and possible 'home crowds of less than a thousand, whilst others are understood to be scared that their sponsorship of CCFC could result in boycotts of their products and services.
There are also rumours that some companies are looking towards the exisiting Coventry based sporting teams as a way of promoting their company, rather than the Sky Blues
