Coventry City remain twelfth in the League One table after the matches played today.

City, who travel to Carlisle tomorrow, have 37 points from 26 matches and are seven points off sixth placed Milton Keynes Dons who drew 1-1 at home with Bury

A win at Carlisle would see City go up a place above Stevenage who were beaten 2-1 at home by Doncaster Rovers who are behind leaders Tranmere who beat Crawley 2-0 on goal difference.

Brentford moved up to third with a 2-0 win at Oldham, whilst fourth placed Sheffield United were beaten 2-0 at home by Yeovil Town and fifth placed Swindon Town drew 1-1 at seventh place AFC Bournemouth.

Bottom side Hartlepool drew 1-1 at Shrewsbury, whilst Portsmouth dropped to second bottom after their home game against Notts County was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and Bury's point at MK Dons.

Colchester United have dropped into the bottom four with a 2-1 home defeat to Scunthorpe United.

Elsewhere, Leyton Orient drew 1-1 with Crewe.
