City Still Eight Points Adrift

Coventry City are still eight points adrift of safety (eleven if Swindon beat Oxford tomorrow) after the 2-0 defeat at home to ninth placed Millwall.

Russell Slade's side who have the worst goal difference in the division of minus twenty one goals, are five points behind Chesterfield who lost 1-0 at home to Oldham Athletic whom are 21st and whom City travel to next Saturday.

Bury are 22nd after losing 2-1 at Shrewsbury who moved up to eighteenth.

Sheffield United are two point clear at the top after a 4-0 home win against AFC Wimbledon. Scunthorpe stay second despite losing 3-1 at Southend with Bolton third after a 1-1 draw away to MK Dons, Fleetwood fourth after a 1-1 draw at Charlton and Bradford City are fifth following a 2-2 home draw with Gillingham.

Elsewhere, Peterborough won 3-0 at Port Vale, Rochdale drew 0-0 with Bristol Rovers and Walsall beat Northampton Town 2-1.
