Coventry City are still keen on Wolves striker Freddie Eastwood.
Wolves are demanding the £1.5m they paid Southend for the Welshman but City's best offer has been £500k short of that amount, although they remain interested in taking the striker to the Ricoh Arena and would be looking to him as the impetus to get bums on seats.
Said Eastwood to the Wolves Express And Star: "Wolves will probably want their money back but having said that I don't think I am a player who has lost any value.
"So far there has been bits and pieces of interest but hopefully someone will coming knocking at my door in the next few weeks. "I can't see me being here come August."
