A Coventry City supporter escaped a banning order after invading the pitch to celebrate with the City players after their 4-1 win at Notts County in a League Two Play-Off Semi-Final .
Police wanted a banning order for the 24 year old but Deputy District Judge Claire Evans said: "I am not satisfied there are grounds that the banning order would prevent violence. I don't think the risk of violence would occur now you have had this experience.
"You went onto the playing area and this has made you realise what a foolish thing you did."
The City supporter was fined £120 with £85 prosecution costs and a £30 government tax to pay and missed out on the Final at Wembley
