I live in Brisbane, Australia......and I would love to get to the Gillingham game, but my business precludes that unfortunately.
Having supported City since 1967, they are, naturally, very close to my heart..........there are so many moments !!......I nearly lost it when I rang TalkSports from my home here in Brisbane and talked for over 5 minutes live on air - but I am genuinely elated that this dam silly mess is over (well, almost).
To that end, unless a benefactor gets me a return flight over, I would like to offer to buy tickets for that game - 2 adults, 2 children..........and donate them to someone who needs them, someone down on his luck, someone who is hesitating, but loves the City as much as I do.
Can you help me do this please...........would there still be time for you to find someone........its not meant as charity, and I am not after any glory.....that's just not me as Kev Monks will tell you, but because I also want the stadium filled that night, as you do, for the team principally, but to also make a statement, in front of cameras, to the whole of England ......... that Coventry City are on their way back.
I hope you view this message as a genuine, heart felt offer, and can come up with ideas for yourselves as to how to do this.........we just need 32,500 in that stadium on the glorious Friday............
