Coventry City supporters have been joining those involved in CNS Sport in wishing long standing Safety Officer Chris O'Neill all the best after his departure from the club.
Mr O'Neill had worked for the club since the late 1990's but was ousted by Arena Coventry Limited last week, with his last game, the 4-0 win over Grimsby Town, which was reported on this site yesterday.
In a tweet, Mr O'Neill wrote he was disappointed to have been removed from his positiion because of the politics.
A few of the tweets, we have received, wishing Chris all the best:
City supporters campaign group The Jimmy Hill Way - "Totally agree. A thoroughly decent bloke who worked well with supporters and their representative groups. Good luck for the future, Chris."
Former SCG member Chris McGrath: "So sorry to hear the terrible news, you really don't deserve it. Nothing suprises me about any of those characters. Good luck for the future."
Family Zone's Pat Raybould: "Not good news. Chris is a lovely, genuine person who is well known and respected by fans. Good Luck Chris - will miss our chats."
Marc - "What sad news. Chris is a top guy and so professional in his work. Always had time for a chat - will be a big loss to the club. The link he had with the fans and respect was second to none. Good luck Chris."
