Coventry City have Martin Lorentzson currently on trial.
The 31 year Swedish defender, has played for AIK Stockholm and turned out for City U21's in their 3-0 defeat at Sheffield United.
Speaking about the right back to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, City boss Tony Mowbray said: "I can see that he’s a very talented footballer with the ball at his feet; he never gives it away.
“He’s played for AIK Stockholm for a lot of years and played once for the Swedish national team.
“We’re going to keep him for the rest of the week and make a decision on the back of that, just to be fair to him.
“He didn’t really get tested too much down his side of the pitch on Monday, and it wasn’t a great game to judge anyone on really.
“He’s been here a week or so and we’re going to extend it for a few days and have a discussion with his advisor.
“He’s a footballer really but I haven’t seen him defend yet so we’ll do some work with him this week and see how he gets on.”
