Coventry City have signed Jordan Maguire-Drew on loan subject to Premier League clearance.
Maguire-Drew has joined City on loan until May 31st from Brighton & Hove Albion and the 20 year old who has come through Brighton's academy and played for the likes of Worthing, Dagenham & Redbridge and Lincoln, will be available for selection for Saturday's FA Cup Third Round tie against Stoke City at the Ricoh Arena.
Speaking about taking on Maguire-Drew, Mark Robins told the club website: “We targeted Jordan during the summer and unfortunately missed out, so we are very pleased to be able to bring him in now.
“He has great technical ability and quality, and is a scorer of goals, so we are delighted to get him through the door and for him to start with us.
“Having got into the top three of the league on Monday, Jordan will supplement our squad very well as we look to establish our position.”
Brighton U23's coach Simon Rusk said to his club's website: “Jordan has benefitted from playing in the EFL already this season, and joining Coventry will only add further to his experience.
“He’s got the chance of helping the club win promotion, and that’s an exciting challenge for Jordan, and something he can learn a lot from. We’ll keep track of his progress and we wish him all the best at Coventry.”
