Coventry City are in talks with manager Steven Pressley over a new deal.
The Scot. who was instrumental in pushing for the Sky Blues to return to the Ricoh Arena, is just over midway through a three year contract but is in talks about a new and improved deal with the Sky Blues.
City CEO Steve Waggott told the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner: "I’d love to get the manager signed up on a new deal,” said Waggott, who sees himself as something of a father figure to the manager whose current deal runs to 2016.
“The two main signings of the season, apart from the 13 or 14 players we’ve brought in, would be the Ricoh and Mr Pressley. It’s my top priority at the moment and I’d like to get it done as soon as possible.”
