Coventry City gave away a lead and went down to a 2-1 defeat at Gillingham.
Tony Mowbray, who thanked the City supporters at Priestfield for sticking with the team, added Andre Wright to his starting line up and running saw his side go a goal up in the 21st minute through a Kyel Reid shot which beat the badly placed Nelson in the Gills goal.
However, the joy was short-lived as Max Emher levelled with a goal from close range four minutes later from a long throw
Mowbray sent on Jodi Jones for the second half which saw Billy Knott allowed to run through and score with ease in the 72nd minute just after City had sent on Ben Stevenson for Wright.
Again this was dire stuff from City who are still without a win and firmly bottom of the league.
