In two weeks time, at the home game with Bristol City, there is a very special anniversary being celebrated.
Fifty years ago this year Coventry City won promotion from Division Four and started their rise through the Football League.
The Coventry City Former Players Association have organised a special event that will bring many of the players from that successful team to the Ricoh for the day.
Amongst the former heroes expected to attend are Ronnie Farmer, Brian Nicholas, Mick Kearns, Lol Harvey, Ken Satchwell, Brian Hill, Peter Wyer, Graham Walker Ray Hill and Vernon Griffiths.
A number of the squad of '59 have passed away but will be represented by family members including Ray Straw's daughter, Alf Wood's son and manager Billy Frith's son, John. The players and relatives will be presented on the pitch at half-time and will take part in a forum in the Casino immediately after the game.
All fans are invited to the forum where they can get autographs from some of City's fine old players.
