According to Sky Sports, the Premier League youngster that Coventry City manager wants to take on loan is Manchester City's teenager Alex Henshall.
Robins earlier said today, that he was after a Premier League player and Henshall who has yet to make a first team appearance for Roberto Mancini's team's could be joining on loan for the rest of the season, in a similar deal to the one which saw Alex Nimely come to Coventry last season.
If a deal cannot be done before the January transfer window closes at 11pm, then Robins is expected to wait until the loan window opens to bring in a player.
