City To Take Things Steady With Blair Adams

Coventry City Caretaker Manager Lee Carsley has admitted that the club's medical staff are taking things at a steady pace with Blair Adams who is recovering from a knee injury.

He’s biking and in the pool and we’re going to have to go steady with Blair," Carsley said to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner. "He’s on course and they always say six weeks but that six weeks can turn into 12.

"It depends on how his body reacts to it. I had exactly the same injury and I was out for nine months, so it’s a case of how he reacts.

"He’s not had an operation. They’re trying a passive approach to it and hopefully that will work."
