Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has turned down the offer of former loanee Alex Nimely playing for nothing.
Nimely through his father and agent had contacted City about playing for nothing but speaking to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Tony Mowbray said:"If Waggy gets any calls I have told him to drop the names on my desk but when Alex Nimely came to Middlesbrough I'd have to say that he really didn't do it. He found it hard at first team level and just didn't cut it.
"That's the one danger because there are loads of these types of players who we could take on loan from clubs like Arsenal or Manchester City, who are young boys who have only played U21's football.
"Robert Page was at the reserve game this week and we had a chat in my office afterwards but we never discussed him."
