Bottom side Hartlepool are now ten points adrift after a 1-0 defeat at fifth placed MK Dons. They are below Bury who lost 1-0 at Crewe, Scunthorpe who win 3-1 at Leyton Orient and Portsmouth who drew 0-0 with Preston, Shrewsbury moved out of the bottom four with a 2-1 home win over Carlisle United.
Tranmere are top with 41 points after their 0-0 draw at third placed Sheffield United, whilst Brentford have taken over in second after a 2-1 win at Notts County.Doncaster are down to fourth,
