Coventry City have upgraded their scouting network.
The Sky Blues now employ four scouts covering the Midlands, South of England, North of England and Scotland and speaking about this to the Coventry Telegraph's Andy Turner, Steven Pressley said: “We looked to employ a head of recruitment several months ago but it didn’t quite work out. The person we identified chose not to come at this moment in time.
“So we restructured and we now employ a scout in Scotland, a scout in the South of England, a scout in the North West and a scout in the Midlands.
"That has just happened in the last two weeks because it’s an area we have been trying to improve on.
"I think it’s one of the most important aspects in terms of the club’s development but there have been so many things that we’ve had to address.
“But slowly and surely we are putting the building blocks in place, and one of those is our scouting department.”
